The KCC difference

Stop absorbing the chaos.
Run a clean operation.

The same fleet, before and after the work. This is what changes when compliance is actually owned.

Before KCC

Compliance handled off the side of a desk.

  • Scrambling to pull files together every time an audit notice lands
  • Rising CSA scores you can't explain or get ahead of
  • DQ files with gaps that surface at the worst possible moment
  • Clearinghouse and random-testing deadlines slipping through the cracks
  • Safety nobody truly owns, so problems are found too late
With KCC

A safety function that runs and holds up.

  • Audit-ready files maintained year-round, so a DOT notice is a non-event
  • CSA scores trending down with a clear plan behind every BASIC
  • Complete, current DQ files for every driver, checked and re-checked
  • Drug & alcohol program run to FMCSA standard, deadlines never missed
  • A safety partner who owns the function and answers when it counts

Common questions about DOT compliance

How long does it take to get my company audit-ready?

It depends on the shape your files are in, but most carriers we work with are in solid shape within two to four weeks. We start by pulling the same records a DOT auditor would, flag what is missing or expired, and fix the highest-risk gaps first.

What triggers a DOT audit?

New carriers get a new entrant safety audit within their first year. After that, audits are usually triggered by rising CSA scores, a reportable crash, a complaint, or random selection. We keep you ready so the timing never matters.

What has to be in a driver qualification (DQ) file?

At minimum: the driver application, a current medical certificate, motor vehicle record (MVR), an annual review of driving record, a road test or CDL equivalent, and Clearinghouse query results. We track expiration dates so nothing lapses without you knowing.

How do you lower a CSA score?

We find which BASIC category is driving the score, trace it back to the specific violations and inspections behind it, and put a correction plan in place. Scores improve as clean inspections replace older violations across the 24-month window FMCSA uses.

Do you manage the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse?

Yes. We handle Clearinghouse registration, run pre-employment and annual queries, manage your random testing pool, and keep the documentation that proves the program is run to FMCSA standards.

Can you set up a brand new trucking company?

Yes. We handle operating authority, registrations such as IFTA, IRP, and UCR, and build your safety and compliance systems from the ground up so the foundation is right before your first truck rolls.
